The octagonal profile of the Kirschbaum Spiky Shark string allows for easy topspin and cut strikes, with the creation of different apexes that favour grip on impact. Spiky Shark, made of lightweight polyester, also offers good punch and excellent control, and is easy to string compared to other polyester strings.
